Intern with River City Church which is located in the largest suburb of the Portland, OR Metropolitan area. River City is a church plant that is 27 months old. They have completed a years’ worth in community work. Vancouver is 4% evangelical Christian with the main beliefs being Buddhism, Wicca, and Atheism. You will have hands-on ministry experiences including, but not limited to the Free Farmers Market that they host for the 26% immigrant community surrounding the church, help lead small group Bible studies, facilitate outreach, trained on the service evangelism model, and learn how to roast coffee to help with their ministry called Church Plant Coffee.
